Course Description

This basic CPR course teaches lay rescuers how to recognize and treat life threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, child, and infant victims. Students also learn to recognize the warning signs of heart attack along with AED Training.

Intended Audience

For those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. Anyone who wants to learn more about the topic. Childcare providers, caregivers, foster parents, construction, personal trainers, etc.

First Aid (Adult or Pediatric)

Course Description

The basic First Aid course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Course content includes General Principles, Medical Emergencies, and Injury Emergencies.

If you arrive 10+ minutes late, you will not be allowed in class and course fee will be forfeited. 3. No one is allowed in class other than paid participants. 4. No Refunds will be given if the participant does not understand the material, cannot pass required skills, or pass written exams. 5. Participants agree to give 24+ hours notice in writing by emailing certifiedcpr@gmail.com or by texting 775-691-9952 if they need to reschedule. Participants will be allowed to reschedule one time to another available course within 60 days of the original class date. Participants that do not show up for class, or do not give 24 hours notice, understand there are No Refunds or Rescheduling and they forfeit the class fee. 6. If you register multiple times, there will be a minimum $5 fee to correct the registration. 7. Feel free to bring food and drink to class. 8. Doors open 15 minutes prior to class time.*
